KFx Medical Corporation Receives 510k Clearance for Knotless Tissue Fixation
San Diego, CA, August 10, 2006 — KFx Medical Corporation, a developer of minimally invasive percutaneous repair systems for rotator cuff repair announced today that it has received FDA clearance to market its SutureCross® Knotless Anatomic Fixation System.
Dr. Joseph C. Tauro, one of the pioneers in arthroscopic cuff repair in private practice at Ocean County Sports Medicine in Toms River, NJ and Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at New Jersey Medical School and Chairman of the KFx Scientific Advisory Board said, "This is the most exciting new development for rotator cuff repair in a decade.
