Roy DeVries
Vice-President, Sales
Mr. DeVries has an extensive sales, management and entrepreneurial background. His previous company affiliations include: Stryker, Johnson & Johnson, Opus Medical, Pegasus Biologics, and Mentor Medical. Roy has also founded several successful medical distribution and consulting companies. Mr. DeVries has a track record of exemplary sales achievement throughout his professional career, winning pinnacle levels of performance recognition. Having observed over 1200 arthroscopic shoulder and anchor procedures, he is uniquely-positioned to drive KFx Medical's break-through Suture-Cross technology to extremity-focused surgeons everywhere.

Malcolm Heaven
Vice President, R&D and Operations
Before joining KFx, Mr. Heaven was Vice President R&D/Ops for ATI Medical. Prior to that he was Vice President R&D/Ops for Situs, and Senior Vice President of Corporate Research and Development for Imagyn Medical Technologies, Inc. There he was responsible for all development activities supporting the Urology, Surgical, Gynecology, Critical Care/Anesthesiology and Medical/Surgical Divisions of the company. Earlier, Mr. Heaven was Co-Founder, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Advanced Surgical, Inc. and has spent more than 30 years in the biotechnology and materials science industries. He is a graduate of the College of Advanced Technology in Birmingham, England, and is a Chartered Scientist.

W. Tate Scott
Chairman & CEO
Mr. Scott gained experienced in drugs, medical devices, and combination products at American Hospital Supply and Johnson & Johnson and has operated as President/CEO of both public and start-up companies. He served as Chairman of Orquest, Inc. (Orthobiologics) through its sale in 2003 to Depuy, a Johnson and Johnson Company, and is currently on the boards of Scott Laboratories (
Grace Clinic) and
Benvenue Medical. In addition to his experience in orthopaedics, Mr. Scott has brought products to Urology, Nursing, and General Surgery Markets and is the holder of five patents. While at Ethicon Endo Surgery, Mr. Scott led the business development and M&A activities for the general surgery franchise. His AB and MBA were earned at Duke University.
