Barr Dolan

Mr. Dolan has been investing in life sciences companies for the last twenty years as a founding partner in Charter Venture Capital. He has been an active founder of multiple life sciences companies, including the women's health company Adeza Biomedical, cardiac catheter company EP Technologies (IPO, then acquired by Boston Scientific), biotech company Heska Corporation (HSKA), biotech company Univax Biologics (IPO, then acquired by NABI), women's health drug delivery company UMD and women's health medical device company Vesta (acquired by Pfizer). Among his many roles with these companies, Mr. Dolan has also served as interim chief executive officer of Adeza and EP Technologies and chairman of several others.

George Dunbar, Venture Partner

George Dunbar joined Arboretum Ventures in 2010 as a Venture Partner. George utilizes his extensive healthcare operating experience as the former CEO of a number of venture-backed healthcare companies to evaluate new investment opportunities in diagnostics, life science tools, and medical devices. George currently serves as the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors at CerviLenz and serves on the boards of directors for KFx Medical and Life Magnetics.

Prior to joining Arboretum, George was the President, CEO, and Chairman of Aastrom Biosciences [NASDAQ: ASTM], a clinical development stage healthcare company based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Prior to Aastrom, George worked with several national venture capital firms, serving as the CEO of early-stage life sciences companies, including Quantum Dot (acquired by Invitrogen) and Epic Therapeutics (acquired by Baxter Healthcare). He has also held senior positions in licensing, business development and marketing with the Ares-Serono Group and Amersham International.

George earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Auburn University, where he currently sits on the MBA Advisory Board of the College of Business.

John Savarese, M.D.

Dr. Savarese is a Managing Director at Montreux Equity Partners. Prior to joining Montreux, Dr. Savarese served as Director of Business Development and Marketing with the entrepreneurial team at NeurogesX (NASDAQ: NGSX), a Montreux portfolio company focused on the treatment of pain. Dr. Savarese worked in the Life Sciences Investment Banking division at Credit Suisse First Boston and started his career in the venture industry as a consultant to private equity firms and early stage companies.

Dr. Savareses clinical experience in General and Orthopedic Surgery was gained at the Cornell University Medical College/Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Savarese is a board director or observer for Montreux portfolio companies, KFx, Verus, Avantis Medical, Bayhill and Novalar. In addition, he was actively involved in Montreuxs investment decisions in Somaxon (NASDAQ: SOMX), Aryx (NASDAQ: ARYX), Orexigen (NASDAQ: OREX), Cerexa (Forest Labs), Renal CarePartners, NovoStent and Asthmatx.

W. Tate Scott

Mr. Scott is experienced in drugs, devices, and combination products at majors American Hospital Supply and Johnson & Johnson as well as President/CEO of both public and start-ups companies. He served as Chairman of Orquest, Inc. (Orthobiologics) through its sale in 2003 to Depuy, a Johnson and Johnson Company, and is currently on the boards of Scott Laboratories (Grace Clinic http://www.graceclinicus.com/) and Benvenue Medical (http://www.benvenuemedical.com/) . In addition to his experience in orthopaedics, Mr. Scott has brought products to Urology, Nursing Products, and General Surgery Markets and is the holder of 5 patents. While at Ethicon Endo Surgery, Mr. Scott led the business development and M&A activities for the general surgery franchise. His AB and MBA were earned at Duke University.

Craig Taylor

Craig C. Taylor has been an active venture capitalist since 1977. He earned a BS (1972) and an MS (1974) in physics from Brown University, and an MBA from Stanford in 1977. He worked in the Office of Technology Licensing at Stanford from 1975 to 1977. He is a director of Adeza Biomedical (NASDAQ:ADZA) and serves on the board of directors of several private companies, including ForteBio, Labcyte, Optimedica, and Zyomyx. Mr. Taylor is a past member of the Board of Directors of the National Venture Capital Association, and serves on the Board of Advisors of the MIT/Stanford Venture Laboratory.

Rod Young

Mr. Young joined Three Arch Partners as a Venture Partner in May 2006. Prior to Three Arch Partners, Rod was President and CEO of Vivant Medical, a Three Arch Partners medical device company that was acquired by Tyco; President & CEO of Targesome; Chairman & CEO of General Surgical Innovations, also a Three Arch Partners medical device company that was acquired by Tyco; President & CEO of Focus Surgery; President of Toshiba America MRI; and President & COO of Diasonics.

Rod holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from The Harvard Business School.
